Partnerships
In order for Returning to Jorsal to be realised, we are dependent on partnerships who stand behind the vision of the trip and who will help contribute to see it realised.
Partners are churches and organizations that show their support for the project through prayer, financial contribution and by advertising the project. They gain insight into the project’s challenges, progress and prayer needs through regular updates.
All Partners will also have their Organisation/Church name publicly displayed on our website.
The purposes of Returning to Jorsal according to the organisation’s goals are:
- To atone for the negative outcomes of the Crusades, of which King Sigurd Jorsalsfare was a part.
- To bring blessing to the seven cities we visit in word and deed.
- To renounce all forms of anti-Semitism in our history.
- To thank the Jewish people for the heritage that we have received – 1000 years of Christian Law.

Cadet
Cadet Partners support the project by affirming that they stand behind the vision and purpose of the trip.
Cadets pray regularly for the project.
Cadet Partners support the project financially by taking up an offering of any amount.
Navigator Partners are more deeply involved.
Navigators pray regularly for the project.
In addition…
They aim to send someone from their church/organisation on the voyage.
They are active in making the project visible on platforms such as their website, their social media and at meetings.
Navigator Partners support the project financially with an offering or gift of at least NOK 10,000.
Captain
Captain Partners are willing to carry an extra burden.
Captains pray regularly for the project.
They aim to send someone from their church/organisation on the voyage.
They are active in making the project visible on platforms such as their website, their social media and at meetings.
In addition…
They are offered a visit to their church or organisation in order for the team to share the background and vision for the trip in more detail.
Captain Partners support the project financially with an offering or gift of at least NOK 25,000.
